Hi:  My name is Christine Dudley-Daniels I am a retired Social Work  Administrator who worked for the City of New York for 35 year.  My husband is Jack Daniels who is a retired Supervisor for an advertising marketing firm.  Jack is disabled from the effects of a series of strokes. 

What became an earthquak.  e in my life and my world began on a Tuesday morning April 30, 1996.  I survived, my husband survived and my family remained intact.  I therefore wrote this book to give hope and inspiration to those who at some time in life may be touched by catastrophic illnesses.

I give thanks to my family and friends who provided the necessary support for both me and Jack.  I give special thanks to my sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and to Wyatt Tee Walker Sr. Pastor and the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ for unreservedly providing the essential support required during a crisis period.
