Testimony of Faith
The onset of an acute illness in the case of a stroke or heart attack precipitates a crisis for the entire family. One is never prepared for a crisis that comes with no warning. Even as a professional, one is not prepared to understand systems that devise routinized ways to handle illnesses and crisis. Systems that constrain and control who will receive the necessary help for recovery.
I made it, my husband made it and my family remained intact. That is why I am writing this book. It is written from my personal experience, my perception and my understanding of the events which occurred. It is my hope that whomever takes the time to read this book will be helped and encouraged in the face of a catastrophic illness.
